The New Earth will definitely be an interesting place. Anywhere with a lack of sin and communion with God simply must be a very good place. But the real point of this post is some speculation. I have been wondering how the new earth will mirror the current earth, or, to put it in probably more accurate words, how the current earth mirrors the new earth. Will there be a Washington? Will there be a Mt. St. Helens? Will there be a Clark County? And even more than geographical similarities, how will the histories parallel? Will the cultures and empires of the world rise and fall? Will there be a harmless but awful Flood? Where will the technology of the past and future fit into it all? So many questions.

Well, I'm not sure about all the things you mentioned, but I'll bet there will be some fantastic duck hunting. :-D

All I know is, it will be a whole lot better than the current world.
