The other day as I sat down at my desk, I realized that there were small pieces of candle wax on the top. I started rubbing the wax with my fingers, and then I got a rag. About an hour later, I had a nicely waxed desktop. I don't exactly understand why I did it, but I think the Winter Olympics might have had something to do with it. Specifically, I remember that some of the athletes in Salt Lake City were having wax troubles. Yeah, snowboarders who couldn't move fast enough influenced my decision to spend an hour making little circles on my desk. Although I find this rather embarassing, the end product is pretty cool. Nothing beats doing math on a shiny surface.
